MRPS PIE hosts an outstanding Fall Festival!

Thanks to Roxbury and Montpelier parents for hosting such a wonderful event for kids, and to support our programs and classrooms. The weather could not have been more beautiful to enjoy the snow cones, live music, races, food trucks, games, and even... the dunk tank!

RVS Dates to Remember

Bus riders, please note that we will have an emergency drill tomorrow morning, Tuesday 10/3. Kids who need to eat breakfast will be given extra time to do so.
Note that school is closed on Friday, 10/6 for an inservice day, and Monday, 10/9 in observance of Indigenous Peoples' Day.

Reminder about Halloween Celebrations at RVS

As in years past, no costumes or Halloween themed items will be included in our celebrations during the school day on October 31st. An optional trunk or treat will be offered later in the evening: stay tuned for more details! We will be hosting some fun activities of a different nature at school during the day - more information coming shortly.

Our pom pom jar is full again!

Kindergarteners filled our jar up to the very top again today, which means that it's time for another all-school celebration. Ask your kiddo to share with you what our new celebration will be - TBD tomorrow after all votes are in!

October Reading Challenge

Students in grades K-4 are participating in a reading challenge for the month as they get used to reading at home and tracking their progress. Grades K-2 should return these at the end of the month: grades 3-4 can return them on Fridays. Thanks so much for your support in encouraging your kids to read at home. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you need help accessing books - we have plenty to share!
