equirements for National Honor Society membership at Plano East:
· You must be in 10th grade or above.
· You must have a minimum 3.6 cumulative GPA.
· Your academic, attendance, and disciplinary status must be in good standing.
For this year, due to underlying circumstances, we will be implementing a flat 20-hour requirement for the entire year. This means that by the end of the year (before our induction ceremony), you must have at least 20 service hours. This also means that there is no strict minimum on the # of hours that need to be completed by the end of the first semester. However, you must ensure you fulfill all the other criteria above throughout the entire year.
Linked below is the registration form and chapter website. Fees this year will be separated into membership and t-shirts (if you would like one). There is a t-shirt option on the form to gauge interest.
Our orientation dates will be announced at a later date on Google Classrooms: 6vs6veb or 4a6ihms.
If you have any questions, please email peshnhs@gmail.com, or our faculty sponsor, Mr. Rhett Carter at rhett.carter@pisd.edu.
