STEM NIGHT SUCCESS
Our STEM Night was an incredible success, thanks to the vision and leadership of Ms. Bennett, whose hard work and coordination made the entire event possible. We are also deeply grateful to our outstanding community partners for bringing STEM to life for our students and families. A heartfelt thank‑you to the Chester County Economic Development Council, RaiderBots, Egon Cools Reading Science Center, Longwood Gardens, the Delaware Museum of Science, the Chester County Library System, and Brandt 3D Printing. Their engaging activities, hands‑on demonstrations, and passion for innovation made the evening unforgettable and truly inspiring for all who attended.
Spanish Club
We are excited to announce the return of our Spanish Club at King’s Highway Elementary this year! This is a great opportunity for students to explore language and culture in a supportive environment. Through interactive activities such as games, music, movement, crafts, and storytelling, students will build basic Spanish vocabulary, practice conversational skills, and develop a deeper appreciation for Hispanic culture. All students are invited to join, and no prior experience with Spanish is required. The Spanish Club will meet after school on select Wednesdays in the library until 5:15 PM. Parents must ensure that their child is picked up promptly at 5:15 PM after each session. Students who are picked up late more than once may not be eligible to attend future club sessions. Meeting Time: After School Until 5:15 PM Spanish Club Session Dates: · February 4 · February 11 · March 4 · March 11 · April 8 · April 22 Spanish Club Enrollment Form Because we anticipate high interest, registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis, with a limit of 20 students. Please confirm that your child will be available for the session dates listed above before enrolling your child in the Spanish club. Next, to secure a spot for your child, complete the Google form linked at the button below. A follow-up email will be sent to the families of students who are selected for the club with additional details and reminders about the program. Thank you in advance for supporting your child's participation in this exploration and celebration of Hispanic language and culture! If you have any questions or need further information, please feel free to contact Miss Kaptur via email at kapturh@casdschools.org. Kind regards, Hannah Kaptur Spanish Club Advisor King’s Highway Elementary School
COIN CLASH
PTO Fundraiser
From January 26th–30th, the school halls will echo with the glorious clang of Coin Clash as pennies, bills, and the occasional sneaky silver coin fly into buckets! Pennies and paper money boost your homeroom’s score, while those shiny silver coins do the opposite, so choose wisely… or mischievously. Some may play it straight, feeding their own bucket fistfuls of copper glory, while others may attempt strategic chaos by dropping silver coins into another homeroom’s bucket to throw off their totals. It’s all part of the fun, the friendly rivalry, and the race to coin-counting glory—so grab that spare change, check under the car seat, and let the clash begin! 💰🔥
BINGO Night Donations
A great chance to get the word out there
PTO BINGO Night – Donations Welcome!
Our PTO will host its annual BINGO Night on March 27, and we are excited to once again bring our school community together for an evening of fun. To help make the event a success, we are seeking prize donations from local businesses and community partners.
If you own a business, this is a wonderful opportunity to support our school while showcasing what you offer. Popular donations in the past have included discount vouchers, coupon books, date‑night packages, family activities, and themed gift baskets. All contributions—business‑related or not—are greatly appreciated, and every donor will be recognized during the event.
Last year, our BINGO Night filled the building with enthusiastic players, and we look forward to an even bigger turnout this year. Thank you in advance for your support and generosity!
