What is LPDC?

LPDC is the abbreviation for Local Professional Development Committee. The Ohio Department of Education deemed that all 5-year license renewals will go through the district in which the person is employed and will be attended to by a district appointed committee. Our committee is governed by three teachers and two administrators and is assisted by the fabulous, Holly Montgomery. It meets every month to go over all district submissions. All individual PD submissions go through PDExpress.

Its member are:

  • Winnie Milner (committee chairperson)
  • Carrie Frandoni
  • Catherine Belknap
  • Mike Hart
  • Amanda McGhee

To learn more about how to create plans and pre-approvals, submit documentation and earn professional development hours, please refer to the newly updated LPDC Handbook below.
