A word from Mrs. Panzer. A word from Mrs. Panzer.

Hello, Central Families!

I am so happy to be here at Central! Our families, students, and staff are the best! I look forward to serving all of you this year.

Below are some items of information.

*We appreciate you keeping the drop off and pick-up lane in front of the school clear. Please remember, if you need to come into the school, please park in the parking lot.

*If you are a new visitor to the school, please bring your ID with you. We scan all of the IDs of new visitors. This is one of many ways we keep students and staff safe.

*Our teachers are working so hard to teach children so many wonderful things. We need your help in making sure they are well rested and ready to learn. Please be sure your children are getting at least 8 hours of sleep every night.

*We are having our very first Site Council meeting for the year on September 5. It is from 8:00 am to 9:00 am here at Central. We would love for you to join us! Everyone who attends can put their name in a drawing for a prize!

From The Library From The Library

Welcome Back! The books have missed you!

I think the students missed the books more. It was so fun to see students in the library again. They were so excited to see their favorite books. I hope every student has found something to enjoy reading in the past few weeks.

In library in September we will continue to talk about book care and finding a just right book. Then we move to digital safety. I will be teaching things about how to stay safe when using technology, how to use technology appropriately, and how to balance technology in our lives. These are useful lessons for us all.

Lastly don’t forget the Café Literacy family event Sept. 12th. It will be a wonderful time again this year!

Happy Reading!

- Mrs. Weil

EVENTS TO LOOK FORWARD TO:

Attendance Matters!

We know that everyday counts and being at school on time helps our students learn, grow, and succeed. This year, we will continue our Attendance Challenge to encourage and celebrate great attendance! Thank you for helping us build the habit of strong attendance and supporting your child in being at school every day, ready to learn.
