Beard's Bulletin:
We are changing up Pre-Kindergarten Registration this year to make things quicker and more
efficient for parents. To qualify for this program, children must reach four years of age by the
first of September 2026. Interested families need to submit a lottery application through the
district's digital portal between April 6 and May 7, 2026.
Following the application deadline, an automated drawing will take place on May 8 to determine student placement. Parents will be notified of the results via email and must confirm their child's spot within a forty-eight-hour window. For additional assistance, the district provides a dedicated phone contact and website for further inquiries.
For more information, see the flyer included below or contact the Pre-K office at 706-965-6067 or the CCPS website: https://www.catoosa.k12.ga.us/

The Dish with Mrs. Dills!
“To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow.” When I recently came across this Audrey Hepburn quote, I immediately thought of the incredible work happening here at Tiger Creek. Early last fall, our teachers began planting seeds of growth through their dedication and heart. As we move into these final months of the school year, we get to see our students truly "bloom." Seeing how far they have come in just one year is the best part of my job. I am so proud of each student who walks through our doors, and I’m honored to work alongside such a talented staff.
Thank you for making our school community Tiger-riffic!
Mrs. Jayme Dills,
TCE Assistant Principal
In early February, Tiger Creek Elementary was awarded the Georgia Safety Seal of Preparedness! TCE and CCPS school system has worked very hard over the last several years to implement and update a number of safety measures to keep our students, employees and schools safe!
We are proud to receive this recognition!
Primary HealthCare -Tiger Care
Did you know that we have our own Primary HealthCare Clinic on the school campus?
It is called Tiger Care and the building is right behind our auditorium.

Staff Spotlight!
TCE has several groups of Support Staff that help our students, their families, our teachers & our staff. These particular five are some of our Co-Teachers that either go in and work with homeroom teachers or pull out students for more specialized instruction. We appreciate all that they do and glad they are a part of our staff.

Severe Weather Preparedness
Hello Students, Parents, and Staff.
Spring is right around the corner, and with that comes the chances of severe weather. At TCE, we practice for severe weather to keep everyone safe. At home, you should do the same. Below are some severe weather tips:
Before the Storm:
● Know the weather risks for our area: thunderstorm, lightning, tornado, winter weather, etc.
● Recognize the difference between a watch or warning.
●A watch is issued when conditions are favorable for a severe weather event, and you should have a plan of action.
●A warning is issued when severe weather events are imminent or occurring and you should take protective action.
● Severe thunderstorms are storms can produce large hail and wind gusts up to 58 mph. They can also produce tornadoes, dangerous lightning, and heavy rain. This can damage property and
structures; it is important to pay attention to the weather forecast.
● Know what to do before, during, and after when severe weather strikes your area.
For more information from the National Weather Service, click here.
● Lightning can be extremely dangerous during a thunderstorm.
For information on lightning tips from the National Weather Service, click here.
● Develop a severe weather plan for your home.
Although severe weather can bring peculiar obstacles, with preparation and precautions set in place we can stay ahead of the game and stay safe. Thank you for your continued support @ The Creek!
PLEASE REMEMBER:
You must have your ID to enter the building.
