As families make arrangements for the holiday season, please be advised that teachers may not be able to provide class work for planned absences. Learning activities are designed to be carried out in the specific context of the classroom and will therefore include elements that may not be properly or appropriately captured in a worksheet; e.g., classroom discussions, conferring with the teacher, or using a graphic organizer.

Ask your teacher for specific information, but don't be surprised if they simply ask your child to take a good book, write in a journal, or engage in another activity of a similar type.

Art Lit parent training session is January 7th, 9:00 am in the library. We will no longer be studying Rousseau as indicated on the website, but Swedish Folk Art instead to tie into our study of Sweden. Thanks to our amazing Culture Travel Week team who will be presenting a short history of Swedish Folk Art and teaching an exciting hands on project involving the Swedish Dala Horse. Please refer to the attached pdf to learn more. Also feel free to contact caitie_coleman@me.com with any questions.
