Transportation Resources
Do you have a student who needs transportation to access work experience for graduation requirements or career goals? Use these resources to support an independent living goal!
Workforce Mobility Partnership Program (ODOT)
- The Workforce Mobility Partnership Program was first established in Section 755.20 of House Bill 23. Through this act, $15 million is made available each State Fiscal Year for 2024-2025 to support projects in Ohio's rural and urban areas that easily and efficiently transport resident workforce members to economically significant employment centers or places of employment outside of their resident community.
Mobility Ohio (State Agencies in partnership with ODOT)
- Mobility Ohio, a collaboration between Ohio’s state agencies that fund community and human service transportation (HST), proposes to pilot a Regional Transportation Resource Center (RTRC), a one-stop hub where clients and customers can conveniently schedule trips by phone or online for multiple trip purposes.
Mobility Managers Contact List
- The map divides Ohio into mobility management regions. Find your region and then use the table in the graphic to search for the Mobility Manager.
- The Safe Routes to School program provides resources, technical assistance and project funding to encourage and enable students in grades K-12 to walk or ride their bike to school. A comprehensive approach to SRTS includes both infrastructure and non-infrastructure countermeasures and programs.
- Find a better commute. Make an impact on your schedule, budget, & planet. Carpools, transit, trip planning, tracking & more!
MYTH: Summary of Performance is OPTIONAL
FALSE! A Summary of Performance is REQUIRED for each student with disabilities exiting school.
- Ohio Administrative Code
- Considerations for Summary of Performance (OCALI) include Case Studies and Resources.
- Form OP-8 Summary of Performance- optional form from ODEW.
Multi-Agency Planning (MAP) Tool
Multi-Agency Planning (MAP) at an agency or county level is systems transformation work. Through our comprehensive MAP Tool, you will work with partner agencies to develop clear, purposeful, and carefully designed processes that promote cross agency, cross program, and cross disciplinary collaborative efforts leading to tangible transition outcomes for youth and families.

Early Transition Planning with Employment First
The Employment First Task Force recognizes that collaborating and planning for a person’s success as they transition into adulthood is critical. The earlier families and partners begin thinking about what adulthood may look like, the more prepared young people are for what lies ahead. During the 2021-2022 School Year, several Ohio school districts participated in our Early Planning Pilot. Through surveys of educators and caregivers of elementary school students, they provided feedback to develop our Universal Supports for Future Planning.
