Hello Bobcat Families,

We’re off to a fantastic start! Week two has been absolutely phenomenal—students are arriving to class on time, and they’ve been sharing such positive feedback about their teachers. It’s a joy to walk through classrooms and see students actively engaged, excited about learning, and thinking about how to apply their knowledge beyond the school walls.

Our cell phone policy is off to a smooth start, and we truly appreciate your support in helping students follow the guidelines. One quick tech tip: we’ve discovered that emails from parents are sometimes landing in students’ junk folders. We’re reminding students to check there, and we’d love your help in doing the same, so no important messages get missed. Also, just a friendly reminder—students with early release or dismissal should wait until they’ve exited the building before using their phones.

To minimize disruptions to classroom instruction, we kindly ask that any items dropped off for students during the school day be picked up by the student at the end of the class period, just before the bell rings. Exceptions will be made only for essential items such as school-issued laptops or eyeglasses. Thank you for your understanding and support in helping us maintain a focused learning environment.

And don’t forget—schools will be closed from Friday, August 29 through Monday, September 1 for the Labor Day holiday. Wishing you a relaxing, joyful, and family-filled long weekend!

Warm Regards,

Principal Lucas
