GREAT NEWS! The Virginia Department of Education has selected Lisa Delp as a RISE Award Winner (Recognizing Inspiring School Employees)!

The RISE Award is given to just TWO support staff members across the commonwealth of Virginia.

The VDOE's website explains that this award was established by Congress in 2019 and spotlights classified school employees’ outstanding contributions to quality PreK-12 education in the United States. The VDOE selects two nominees who showcase excellence in the following areas:

• Work performance

• School and community involvement

• Leadership and commitment

• Local support

• Enhancement of classified school employees' image in the community and school
