Bywood Elementary School Newsletter
May 2025 Edition
Hello Bywood Families!
Here we are in the middle of May and the school year will be over before we know it! This is the last newsletter for this school year. Thank you for taking the time each month to read through them and see the amazing and wonderful things that Bywood is doing.
This month is a super exciting, and a busy one! We have Color day and Bywood's Carnival Game day, among other amazing things. There are also a few days off for the Memorial Holiday, so please pay attention to the Upcoming Events section for all the important dates until the end of the school year.
It has been another awesome school year here at Bywood and I couldn't be happier or prouder to be the principal of this amazing school. Although the school year is coming to a close soon that doesn't mean that your children should stop practicing their reading and math skills. Over summer break please make sure that your child is reading books at home, or the library, and reading signs when in the car or on vacation. Give them some math problems that they must answer before playing a game on a phone or tablet. Any little bit that you can do can help your child with what is know as "summer slide." We always appreciate your help and support at home because it truly does take a village. I hope everyone enjoys their summer break and I am already excited for next school year!
*Remember to Keep Smiling!*
