Rowe Elementary Volunteer Request for May 14th

The Rowe Elementary Parent Teacher Organization is looking for volunteers from our Community to lend a hand with the school’s End of Year Celebration. SpringFest is being held on May 14th from 10AM - 2PM (rain date May 15th) and we need help to make this day a success!

This is a community event, historically called Winterfest, and has always drawn quite the crowd of students and families. We’ll have Carnival Games, a Bounce House, an Inflatable Obstacle Course, Concessions, a Prize Tent, Fundraising Raffles & Silent Auction. New this year, will be a tent filled with free hands-on activities related to Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Math.

To pull this off, we need a significant number of volunteers and could really use your help. The time commitment is up to you. Volunteers can help out from set up to clean up, or they can sign up for any number of time slots here. It would help us if volunteers could please sign up by April 29th.

Before the event, volunteers will receive an info pack including:

  • An Event Map

  • Info on the set up and running of the station they selected

  • Who they can contact for support and

  • Answers to common questions they may get from festival attendees.

If you or your group would be interested or have any questions, please reach out to Emily & Kayla at communitybuilding@roweschoolpto.org.

Thank you for your time and we hope to see you there!

Skip the Lines - Pre-purchase your Springfest Tickets!

At Springfest, currency will be in the form of tickets. All children will receive some free tickets upon arrival, with the option to purchase more. Tickets will be used for games, prizes, concessions, the Cake Crawl and the Teacher Raffle. Historically, wait times to purchase tickets in person at Winterfest have been notoriously long. We're encouraging you to avoid the wait by pre-purchasing your tickets online. These will be available for you at "Will Call" on the day of the event. No need to wait in line!
