On October 9, 2026, the Hardin-Central FFA Chapter was delighted to present the “Farm Family of the Year” Award to Wheeler Family Farms.

The Hardin-Central FFA hosted their first Chili Cook Off on Saturday, October 31 at the Hardin Fire Station. The 2026 FFA Chili Cook Off had many people come to sample the contestants' entries as the judges and socialize. Shane Buhrmeister won the People's Choice Award while Alicia Quick was selected as the Firefighters Choice.

Our brand-new marching band uniforms have arrived! After being fitted on Friday, our band members proudly debuted their new uniforms at the MarchFest Parade in Cameron on Saturday, where the Hardin-Central Bulldogs earned FOURTH PLACE in Class 1!

This milestone would not have been possible without the incredible support of our community. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make these uniforms a reality, including our band parents, administrators, school board, booster club, teachers, families, friends and all those who contributed along the way.

I am so grateful to be part of such a supportive community. Thank you for helping us make this exciting new chapter possible. We are proud to wear our H-C Marching Bulldog Uniforms with Pride!

Top Dawg Tees is Hardin-Central's student-run graphic design and apparel business. Students gain hands-on experience by creating custom designs, producing school spirit wear, and managing customer orders while developing real-world skills in design, marketing, entrepreneurship, and teamwork.

HC Today is Hardin-Central's student-produced news broadcast that keeps our school and community connected. Students write, film, edit, and produce weekly episodes featuring school news, sports highlights, upcoming events, lunch menus, student interviews, and fun segments that showcase Bulldog pride and celebrate what makes Hardin-Central special.
