T.H.E. Trail Guide

Trailblazer Families,

Can you believe we are already into the month of October? Our Trailblazers have been busy learning routines and procedures around the building, participating in our Playworks recess zones each day, reading up a storm, writing stories, showing off their math skills, and not to mention all the great learning when they spend time in specialists! Whew!! We have had a busy month!

At the start of the year, each teacher was gifted the book, The Magical Yet. All across our campus, teachers were reading this story that tells of young girl who has dreams that haven't come true or she failed and cried when learning something new and how we might not be good at some things YET. We know we all have new learning that hasn't been mastered YET and the staff at Tehaleh Heights is dedicated to working with ALL students on their YET goal.

Trailblazers Step Up!!

Thank you so much to NW Traffic, Inc.for our Trailblazer orange car loop line. Safety always comes first and we have already noticed our students keeping a safe distance from the cars in the car pick up loop.

Thank you Ashley and your team!!

Each year our office gives families the opportunity to update student information. Once we have the updates we are able to add that information in our system. Please look for the Student Update Form that will be coming home with your student(s). If you have changes, please make them on the form and return it to THE.

Responsibility

This month we are talking about Responsibility. One way to define Responsibility is “taking action and understanding the impact of our choices.” Taking action can mean doing the right thing or completing the tasks you have been assigned. Understanding the impact of our choices means that our actions matter. Positive and responsible actions can help people and irresponsible actions can hurt others. Throughout the school, students will be developing skills like focusing, organizing, and goal-setting.

You're Invited: Friday, Oct. 28th, 6-8pm - Trunk or Treat walk-thru, outdoor event, coordinated by the PTA! Expect lots of clever trunk displays, candy, food trucks and socializing!
