Staff Devices & Procedures

Staff members who are leaving the District at the end of this year will need to:

• Return staff laptop(s) to ITS. They can make an appointment to return all devices to ITS at the Ed Center (351 S. Hudson, Pasadena, Room 109). This includes laptops, Chromebooks, hotspot, etc. Appointments are only available one week ahead of time. Some appointments may be available at school sites, please be on the lookout for more information.
• Laptops cannot be turned in to the school site, they must be turned in to ITS Personnel.

• Leave workstation components (monitor, docking station, keyboard, and mouse) in the classroom or office space
• Download Files/Data

Student Devices

• All students will be turning in Chromebooks and chargers to the school site at the end of this school year. Schedules coming soon.

Classroom Devices

• If the staff member uses a Promethean board, Promethean accessories must be put away in the box and left with the board.
• NFC cards
• All teachers/staff members returning next year should label and turned in their NFC cards with their keys unless they are using the card over the summer.
• If the staff member is leaving the District, their NFC card should be disconnected from their account and left in the Promethean accessories box.
• Projectors, Document Cameras, and site based technology will be turned in to your librarian, Instructional Coach, or office staff.

Student Chromebooks will be replaced over the summer. This means that all students must turn in their Chromebooks and chargers at the end of this school year to their site, no exceptions.

Summer programs will have access to Chromebooks, which will be deployed at the start of their programs.

At the beginning of the school year, new Chromebooks and chargers will be deployed to all students.
