Gracias a todos los que ayudaron con la limpieza del terreno hoy.

Hablando en serio, hoy un estudiante se lesionó en una de nuestras estructuras de juego. Como medida de precaución, en caso de necesitar llamar a emergencias, decidí activar un Equipo de Respuesta. Este equipo se activa cuando hay una emergencia médica o un incidente leve que requiere que el personal controle el movimiento dentro y fuera de la escuela. Gracias a nuestro equipo de respuesta, que está listo para actuar con rapidez para brindar apoyo a nuestros estudiantes cuando surge la necesidad.

Tuve el placer de unirme al bicibús esta mañana y agradezco a todos los voluntarios que hicieron que el bicibús James John y el programa "Camina y rueda a la escuela" de este año fueran un éxito. Los agradezco enormemente.

La próxima semana celebraremos la graduación de kínder y quinto grado. Estoy muy orgullosa de nuestros estudiantes, personal y comunidad. ¡Solo faltan 4 días, y lo logramos!

Dear James John ES Families,

Thank you to all who helped with today’s grounds clean up.

On a serious note, earlier today we had a student injure themselves on one of our play structures. As a precaution, in case we needed to call emergency responders, I decided to activate a Team Response. A team response is activated when there is a medical emergency or a non-threatening incident that requires staff to control the movement inside and outside of the school. Thank you to our response team who are ready to act swiftly in providing support for our students when a need should arise.

I had the pleasure of joining this morning’s bike bus and thank you to all the volunteers that have made this year’s James John Bike Bus and Walk and Roll to School a success! You all are greatly appreciated.

Next week we will be having our Kindergarten and 5th grade Promotion Celebrations. I am so proud of our students, staff and community - 4 more days to go, we got this!
