📝 Need to Know
Parent/Guardian Notification: Student Perception Survey
Students in Grades 3–12 will complete a brief Student Perception Survey during the school day between November 2–13. The survey gathers feedback on students’ experiences, relationships, sense of belonging and school climate.
Families can preview survey questions and learn more about confidentiality and how results will be used in the full parent/guardian notice.
Families who wish to opt their student out must submit the opt-out form by 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 28.
Your Voice Matters: Join a CORE Chat
Several schools still have upcoming CORE Chats as part of Forward Together 2032.
These small-group, 30–45 minute conversations give families a chance to share what experiences, values and conditions matter most to them in Naperville 203. Feedback from CORE Chats will help shape the district’s Forward Together 2032 framework.
Check your school newsletter for your building’s upcoming CORE Chat date and details.

Through our partnership with 360 Youth Services, we’re sharing upcoming opportunities available to families in our community.
Power of Choice: What Our Students Are Saying
The Power of Choice alcohol-prevention campaign is underway in partnership with Districts 203 and 204. The campaign uses local student data to highlight positive choices, connections and experiences among area high school students.
This month’s message features data from the 2026 Illinois Youth Survey:
82% of local students surveyed said a teacher or another adult at school listens to them when they have something to say.
This year’s student-selected campaign theme, “The Move for Me,” uses a gaming-inspired design to share these positive messages throughout the school year.
Students can also help shape future campaign messages through the 360 Youth Services Youth Advisory Committee. Interested students can contact cwiltjer@360youthservices.org to learn more.
