Suicide Prevention Awareness Month

World Suicide Prevention Day: A semicolon is a symbol used in the mental health awareness movement to represent strength, hope, and a choice to continue living.

Counselors had students write the next step of their story on post it notes that were posted to a semi-colon as well as passed out stickers letting students know that their story is not over!

National Hispanic Heritage Month

In honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month, counselors did a pop up where students were given the opportunity to color parts of a Hispanic Heritage Month Collage while listening to different styles of music unique to the Hispanic Culture. A display was also created to honor staff who identify with the Hispanic Heritage.
