Academy Announcements

Dear Academy Families & Friends,

This week is the last full week of the 2022-2023 school year. As the old saying goes, all good things come to an end. It certainly is a bittersweet time where we reflect and think about all the great things that happened over the course of the school year and how much our students have grown.

On Thursday, June 15th we are holding our 5th grade Promotion Ceremony at 10am. Guests will be invited up to the top lot around 9:45. During arrival, we ask families to be careful as the top lot will be set for the ceremony, as it is an outdoor ceremony.
This past week, we held our Peacebuilder Ceremony, where we recognized student leaders for their empathy and compassion for others. Congratulations to all the recipients.
Tuesday, June 13th is a half day of school due to staff development. DIsmissal will be at 11:50AM
Kindergarten Screening is this week, we are excited to welcome our newest students to the Academy family.
We have had a few parents ask about chromebooks. Students will be allowed to keep them at home this summer. This will allow students access to programs like Lexia Core 5, ST Math, and Bookflix and Trueflix to keep learning happening over the summer (and avoid that infamous summer slide)!
Report cards will be released on Tuesday, June 20th through the Aspen Family Portal.
Monday, June 19th is the observance of the Juneteenth Holiday.
Tuesday, June 20th is the last day of school. It is a half day of school for the students with dismissal at 11:50AM.
