Pastoral Prayer/Lord’s Prayer

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name.

Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses,

as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.

A Tradition of Remembrance

During our Easter Dawn Service, it is a tradition to name aloud those loved ones who have passed away over the last year. This year, we will specifically be holding the names of our Calvary members and friends: Patricia Swavely, Charles Jenkins, Ronald Wechsler, and Kenneth Heaton.

We invite you to add to this list. Whether you plan to attend the dawn service or worship with us later in the morning, you are welcome to share the names of loved ones you have lost since last Easter.

Please email these names to Pastor Mikayla at revmikayla@gmail.com to have them included in our Easter morning remembrance.

As we prepare for the new year, we’re excited to update and expand our Church Directory!

Please help us by sending your current contact information, including your phone number, email address, and physical mailing address, to the church office.

Please email your contact information, even if nothing has changed.

This year, we’re also adding a special new section highlighting the professional and personal masteries and interests of our members. As reminder, there are several different ways to give your offerings here at Calvary.

  1. Bring your offering to Sunday worship.
  2. Mail your offering to the church office at 948 N. 21st Street, Allentown, PA 18104.
  3. Use your bank’s “BILL PAY” service. A one-time or recurring payment can be made by a bank on your behalf. Banks that offer this service typically cut a check and mail it to the church at no cost to you. Contact your bank for details. The bank usually asks for an account number. Just call Calvary office beforehand and Jess will supply an account number to you or just use your envelope number.
  4. Make an online payment through the Moravian Giving Portal – https://mmfa.info/giving-portal/. Go to this link, click on our church’s name and follow the instructions to make a one-time gift or a recurring monthly gift. Donations can be made by members and non-members via direct debit of a bank account or by credit card. All donation processing fees for portal gifts are now paid by the Moravian Ministries Foundation – your full donation will be received by your church.
