Wasmer Weekly Update

I would like to invite you to join me (Miss Luber) for a small breakfast on Wednesday, November 12th from 8.15-9.00am. We would be brainstorming on future family opportunities for our Wasmer community and I will provide a brief overview of what it means to be a Title I school.

Our partnership is critical for the success of our kids. We are in this together!!

Please review this videos as a reminder to ensure safety during arrival and dismissal. The main component to remember is that you must be in either a parking spot or parked along the curbs before letting students out. This is to avoid a student getting hit by a car and to avoid any accidents if you are let your student out in the street.

• 2nd Grade Stuhr Museum: Anania and Christensen go in the morning, VanWormer goes in the afternoon--please dress accordingly as this takes play partially outside

• No School

• Breakfast with the principal from 8:15-9:00am in the cafeteria

• Ukes and More (4th and 5th graders who have signed up) from 3:05-4:00pm

Tuesdays

• Discovery Kids: 3:05 - 5:00pm in the cafeteria (3rd thru 5th grade students only)
• Last day is November 4th

Shout out to all of these students who participated in football club!! Students worked on correct throwing form to throw a spiral and catching the ball. Way to go, gentleman!

Coach Ray (Girls Basketball Coach) will be offering free Sunday basketball clinic for girls in grades kindergarten thru 5th grade from 6:00 - 7:00 pm at GISH in the middle gym for the entire month of November.

Dates of the clinic: November 2, 9, 16, 23, 30th

Location: GISH Middle Gym (enter through door #39 on the east side of the school)
