When you dine at Culver's tonight, 15% of all sales will be donated to Cedar Island PTO.

We need volunteers to help make the night a success. Please pick a 1 hour time slot and show up a few minutes before to help out! Volunteers and Children are an absolute must to help with the increased traffic. Volunteers and children will be used for cleaning tables and chairs in the dining room, running food out to tables, and greeting guests.

Fall parent teacher conferences are coming! The window for scheduling conferences will open on, Thursday, October 9 and will close on Tuesday, October 21.

Conference Dates and Times

Thursday, October 23rd 8:00am - 9:00am and 4:20pm - 7:20pm

Monday, October 27th 4:20pm - 8:20pm

Wednesday, October 29th 8:00am - 9:00am and 4:20pm - 7:20pm

Our Kindergarten classes are learning all about colors—and they’ve invited the whole school to join the fun! On the dates below, help us celebrate by dressing head-to-toe in the color of the day. Let’s show our Kindergarteners just how colorful our school can be!

Color Day Schedule:

• Monday, 10/6 – Red ❤️

• Tuesday, 10/7 – Blue 💙

• Wednesday, 10/8 – Yellow 💛

• Friday, 10/10 – Purple 💜

👉 Monday, 10/13 is Picture Day—no color theme this day.

• Tuesday, 10/14 – Green 💚

• Wednesday, 10/15 – Orange 🧡

Here is what you need to know about picture day...

• Picture day is Monday, October 13
• All students will have their picture taken on picture day, during school hours
• 7-10 days after picture day, all families will receive an email with your student's photo gallery from Kemmetmueller
• All orders will be placed online - no envelopes, no paper order forms, no cash/check
• Photos will be delivered directly to your home!
• Picture retake day will be on Tuesday, November 11.

Are they going through a lot of changes outside of school and need some extra support?

We are happy to announce that we are once again partnering with Veemah Wellness to offer therapy services here at Cedar Island during the school day. Gentry Taylor is our provider and he is here on a daily basis! If you have interest in your scholar receiving this support, you can reach out to our school social worker, Jennifer Taylor at 763-450-8122 or by email at taylorj2@district279.org to complete the referral process.
