Hello Primary Pups!
A Note from Mrs. Bagarozza (Mrs. B)
Hi WPS Families,
I hope you had a great spring break and have been enjoying this unusually warm April weather!
Prior to the break we had our egg hunt and Spring Bonnet Parade- thanks for sticking it out despite the weather! Check out the video highlights linked below! Our dentist visit was rescheduled for Wednesday, April 22nd. We are looking forward to Dr. Little's visit next week.
On May 5th, we will have our Scholastic Book Fair, sponsored by the WPS PTA, at Wall Primary School. Students will be able to go during school hours and families are invited after school hours from 3-5. More information will be sent home soon. The WPS PTA will reach out to find parent volunteers to help at the book fair.
Our 4 yr old program's graduation (Monday, June 15) is fast approaching. In the next May 1st issue you will find more specific information about that so please be on the lookout! We will be having our preschool transition trip, where our 4 yr old students visit their projected elementary schools on April 28th. This trip occurs during the afternoon school day and permission slips will be sent home next Tuesday!

Notes from Nurse Amanda
Hi WPS Families!
I would like to send out a few helpful reminders to help keep our students, families, and staff healthy for the remainder of the school year. Please, If your child is sick with a fever, keep him or her home until the fever has subsided for at least 24 hours (without the help of fever-reducing medication). If your child has been vomiting or has diarrhea, he or she must be free of their symptoms for 24 hours before returning to school. This spreads very easily throughout the classroom. Please continue to reinforce covering your cough and hand washing at home with your child. As always, should you have any questions about a medical issue, please reach out to me via phone or email at any time. Thank you!

WTPS Appoints Dr. David Bleakley as New Superintendent of Schools
As you are aware, Dr. Handerhan announced back in the fall that she will be retiring at the end of this school year. Since then, the Wall Township Board of Education has been actively engaged in the search for a new Superintendent of Schools. At last night’s Board of Education Meeting, the Board of Education appointed Dr. David Bleakley as the next WTPS Superintendent of Schools, effective July 1, 2026. Dr. Bleakley brings with him over 20 years of educational experience, and the Board of Education is thrilled to welcome him to the District.
