The Tiger Times

Week of June 1, 2025
Good Evening Tigers,
This is Noel Keener, the proud principal of Ragsdale High, with this week's updates.
Monday and Tuesday are the LAST DAYS to make up exams. If any student missed a final exam - Monday and Tuesday are the last chance! Please reach out to your teacher to see about make-ups. We don't want a missed exam to be the reason a student doesn't pass a class.
This is also the last week to sign up for transportation for it to be guaranteed when school begins in the fall. If you are a new bus rider, are attending a new school, or have a new address. If you will continue to ride the bus and have no changes, you do NOT need to complete this form. The 2025-2026 online Transportation Preference form linked in our newsletter and is on the district website and must be completed by Friday, June 13th.
We will have SUMMER SCHOOL this summer! Summer school will start June 24. Spaces are limited. Our summer school team will reach out to invite students.
Seniors! We have provided the LAST UPDATE OF THE YEAR for you. See our newsletter for more information from the Greensboro Coliseum.
- Monday, June 9 is Graduation practice at 12:45. All graduates MUST attend. This is when you will get your tickets.
- Senior Sunset and Carnival is June 10 starting at 6pm, through sunset!
- Graduation is June 11. Graduates should arrive at 6:15pm.
Next Sunday will be your LAST Tiger Times of the year!
Thank you , have a great week, happy graduation, and, as always, TIGER PRIDE!

News You Can Use
Last Days for Final Exams
Monday and Tuesday are the LAST DAYS for Final Exams! If you missed an exam, or if you are one of the Math 1 or Math 3 students contacted for retakes this week, Please come to school MONDAY at regular time, 8:55pm. Only students with exams should attend!
Summer Meals: 6/23 - 8/14
Free meals will be available for all children 18 at certain locations, including Ragsdale. Breakfast will be served from 8-9 and lunch will be from 11-12. Families may also pick up a week's worth of meals at two locations on Tuesdays - registration for the week's worth of food is required. Please see the flyer below for more information.
Transportation 2025-2026 (NEW ADDRESS OR NEW SCHOOL ONLY)
Parents, if your child will be a new bus rider, attending a new school, or has had an address change for next school year, you should complete the 2025-2026 online Transportation Preference form by Friday, June 13th to guarantee transportation on the first day of school. This is especially important for rising freshman- so if you are that family or know a family, please remind them!
If your child rode the bus during the 2024-2025 school year as an eligible student and there has been no school change and/or address change, families do not have to apply for transportation for the 2025-2026 school year.
