We have some costuming and make-up needs:

All Thespians and Rebels need black leggings or black pants.

All Cast members should have a neutral colored sleeveless t-shirt and shorts to wear under their costumes to protect their modesty during costume changes.
Every item should be labeled with your name!!

Every cast member playing a female role needs:

A hairbrush, comb, and hair ties

Dress flats or gym shoes. No plush winter boots

This year nail polish is allowed.

If you want to wear make-up: A plastic bag with natural toned eyeshadow, eye liner, mascara, blush, and light lipstick. Glitter eyeshadow and hairspray is allowed!

Every cast member playing a male role needs:

A hairbrush or comb

Gym Shoes

Dark pants.

Finally, we have some important rules for rehearsal:

PLEASE DO NOT SEND FOOD TO BE EATEN AFTER SCHOOL DURING REHEARSAL. FOOD and COSTUMES do not mix!!! ONLY CLEAR WATER TO DRINK!

All Eighth Grade Ensemble Members (not highlighted) eat lunch and then come to room 160 instead of going to recess.

Not all crew members are part of the fifth grade performance. I tried to minimize the number of students taken from class.

If you perform in 7/8 Singers, Show Choir, an Orchestra or Band Ensemble, we all wear the same t-shirt. If you still need a shirt, now is your chance to order another shirt!

The new trimester is off to a fabulous start! I am so excited about all my new classes! Music 6 has started out rocking the Rhythm Unit. The Digital Music Lab has shown a strong ability to improvise melodies and rhythms. The Vocal Power class is full of terrific singers! Show Choir and 7/8 Singers did not meet this week, because so many of them are in the musical. Next week, Show Choir will still be on the morning schedule, because I have a meeting after school. 7/8 Singers will be back after school on Thursday!

The All School Musical is a student chaired production.

Students lead and work all of the crews: Choreography, Costumes, Dance Captains, Hair & Make-up, Lights, Prop Construction, Publicity, Set Construction, Sound, and Stage.

All students who audition for the musical are cast!

Musical 2025 will be our 18th Musical!
