Dear students, staff, and parents/guardians:

Final exams are scheduled for next week. (see schedule attached below).

For those students who are notified that they are eligible for summer school, the registration form is attached.

Summer Reading: Students are expected to read one book from the Summer Reading List. They will meet in the fall in book groups to discuss their summer reading book.

Summer Math: All current freshmen (Class of 2027) should check their Google Classroom for the link to their Summer Math assignments. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Mr. Ridolfi, Math Department Chair at jridolfi@walpole.k12.ma.us.

If your student has medication in the Health Office PLEASE come by to pick it up by the end of the school year.

The Walpole Robotics Team will be having a bottle and can drive on Saturday, June 8, 2024. It will be held in front of the Plimpton building at Walpole High School. Please come by with your bottles and cans that are redeemable. The funds go directly to the Walpole Robotics Team to fund our robots, team travel expenses, and new tools that the team needs to build the robots. The team greatly appreciates the support from the community. The drive runs from 9:00AM - 1:00PM. You just drop off the cans/bottles and the team takes care of the rest. Thank you from Teams 1153 and 1119 the Timberwolves and Pup Cups.

The WHS Latin Club is currently organizing a trip to Sicily for April 2025. If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity (and were unable to attend our last meetings), please contact Mr. Gabriel Bakale (gbakale@walpole.k12.ma.us) for the itinerary and further details!

Latin Club students held their annual chariot races after school this week. A good time was had by all!

Registration is now open for the 51st Annual Walpole Labor Day Road Race!

Don’t miss this wonderful Walpole tradition. Sign-up now for the 5K, 10K, or Youth Mile. All proceeds support the 200+ athletes in the Walpole High School Cross Country / Track & Field Program. Each race participant will receive a finisher’s medal. If you register before August 15th, you’ll also receive a free race t-shirt! Can’t join us live? No problem. Attention junior families:

SAT registration is now open for the 2024-2025 school year. If your student is planning to take the SAT this fall, they can register and save their space now. The fall SAT dates are:

• Saturday, August 24
• Saturday, October 5
• Saturday, November 2
• Saturday, December 7

Students register online through their College Board accounts. They will need to upload a headshot photo for their registration ticket and have a credit card to pay the fee of $68.

If you believe you qualify for a fee waiver, please contact your school counselor.
