School Pictures

If you are interested in purchasing school pictures, be on the lookout for an email from Klimas Studios. The email will contain information on how to see the proof and how to order. Purchasing is optional.

Progress Reports

Starting this Wednesday, be looking for an email from Maryville Virtual School. There will be an attached Progress Report that shows your student's current grade and attendance in each course. See the example below.

  • Yellow- total days absent and number of unexcused absences. These are the numbers that inform the truancy process.
  • Blue- courses absences. This number shows you for how many days a student has not completed their work for a specific class.
  • Green- Q1 % and Q1. This shows the current average in % and grade for each course for this grading period. Q1 stands for Quarter 1 or the first nine weeks of school.
  • Orange- Course % and Course Grade. This shows the current average in % and grade for each course. This will become more important as the year progresses.

If you do not receive the Progress Report email by Thursday, please check the clutter folder of your email. If you still do not see it, please contact MVS to make sure we have your email address listed correctly in PowerSchool.

Start Right Day

Our first ever Start Right Day was a success! Students received all of their materials to start off the year including their laptop, learned some basic laptop skills, and got to meet their teachers and fellow classmates. We even had a few special guests drop by to meet our middle school M@VS, including Social Studies teacher Bob Kirkland, SRO Adam Cook, and Ready Graduate Advisor for 4-7 Jason Hicks.

9-12 Ready Graduate Advisor

Starting this year, Maryville City Schools has invested in staff and programs to help students in grades 4-12 start thinking about what happens after high school and what could be great for each of them. Throughout this year, we will hear more about the Ready Graduate Center and a piece of software called School Links that will assist your student on this journey. Very soon, our 9-12 Ready Graduate Advisor, Wes Lambert, will be reaching out to MVS high school families to start the conversation about how we all can help your student be a Ready Graduate.
