Use this question each week to engage your student at home with the learning that your is doing at school.

Kindergarten: What number comes after 4? 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6….what number would come next?

1st Grade: How do community helpers help the community?

2nd Grade: What is government and what is its purpose? Can you name the three branches of government?

3rd Grade: Practice skip counting by 3’s, 6’s and 9’s.

4th Grade: Ask your child to look around your home and make a list of nouns (people, places, things).

5th Grade: What do you see in the night sky? Have you found Saturn or the moon?

Week 13: Online Safety for New Devices "Smart Devices, Smarter Use"

Many children receive new technology over the holidays. Help your child understand the responsibility that comes with screen time and online access. Review parental controls, talk about safe downloading, and set screen time limits. Reinforce the importance of kindness online and what to do if they see something concerning.
