Quail Call
September 22, 2025
Welcome to PPCS 2025-2026!
Immunizations and Birh Certificates
If your child is a new enrollee, please be sure you have dropped off or sent in their official birth certificate and immunization records. Our contracted nurse will be in soon to evaluate immunization records for the annual State Immunization Report which is due each fall. Public schools are required by law to have a student's government-issued birth certificate on file. If you are unable to find it, you will need to order a new one from the state in which your child was born. Please send us the confirmation of order, so that we know you are in the process of replacing your student's birth certificate.
Student/Family Handbook Acknowledgement
We're asking all families to return a form at the back of the Student/Family Handbook acknowledging that you have read and understood it. Please find the handbook at this link. If you haven't already, please read it, complete the form at the end, and return it to the school. Thank you.
No School October 2 & 3
There is no school October 2 & 3 for teacher work days.
Adventure Friday Fundraiser ends this Friday!
Right now the 3rd grade Crew is in the lead for raising funds for the Parent Crew Adventure Friday fundraiser! You have until the end of the week to bring in your pledge envelopes. One of Palouse Prairie’s goals is to encourage the development of regular exercise habits with a focus on outdoor activities and community engagement. Our Adventure Program provides students with opportunities to explore physical activity, engagement with the outdoor world and familiarization with our Moscow community. Your support encourages children to engage in sustained, vigorous activity and build a life-long love for exercise. This year we are asking students to participate in a physical activity of their choice, outside of school. Walking, biking, running, and services like mowing lawns, weeding flower beds all count! The classroom that raises the most money gets to choose their celebration. Which class is going to win???
Scholastic Book Fair
Spark the love of reading with some great books from the Scholastic Book Fair!
The book fair will be open after school September 23-25 from 3:10-4:30PM, before school September 24 from 7:30-8:15, during school on September 26 for busers only from 1-2pm, and during Covey Day from 2:15-4:30pm. The book fair is coinless, so please remember, if sending money with your child, to include the 6% sales tax required and either exact amount or to the nearest dollar. No coins will be given. This helps keep the check- out process moving. To make check-out even easier you can set up an E-Wallet at this link: https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/bf/palouseprairiecharterschool
