MEDIA CENTER
SEPTEMBER
WHAT'S HAPPENING IN THE LJH LIBRARY?
The Junior High Media Center is a vibrant hub where students can explore, learn, and grow. With a diverse collection of books and digital resources, there’s something for everyone—from popular fiction and graphic novels to study materials and research tools. Mrs. Moore is always ready to help students find the perfect read or support them with school assignments.
In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15–October 15), the Media Center currently features a special display celebrating Hispanic authors, role models, and influential figures in American history. This collection features books written in both English and Spanish, reflecting and celebrating our diverse community.
The Media Center also hosts Lunch Bunch and Book Club and offers flexible spaces for whole-group instruction, independent study, and quiet, cozy nooks where students can nurture their love of reading. We’re also excited to share that nearly 900 books were checked out in September alone!
