Better Together: Fun Run
This email was sent to parents yesterday. Please help us raise money for Austin's Hope, a Dublin non-profit organization whose mission is to bring HOPE to those impacted by Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). This cause is close to our Pinney hearts as the foundation is in honor of Austin Nisley, a current Pinney Panther 5th grader, who is currently fighting DMD.
Always Growing: 4th Grade Literacy
Our 4th (and 5th) grade students are utilizing 95% Core Phonics, a multi-sensory structured literacy program, as part of their core literacy instruction this school year. In this picture, students are completing a word chain in which students are given directions on changing sounds that then create new words. Our K-3 classrooms utilized this program last year.
Take Responsibility: Start With Hello Week
This week we celebrated Start With Hello Week. We all have a collective responsibility to ensure each student feels as if they belong and are connected in our learning community. Sometimes it is as easy as saying "Hello".
