3rd Grade Newsletter
Quarter 2
Supporting your 3rd grader at home:
Families can help support their third grader’s learning at home by practicing important skills in everyday situations! Encourage your child to count money and make different amounts, practice telling time on both digital and analog clocks, and work on addition and subtraction facts. Reading together for 20 minutes each night is also a wonderful way to build reading fluency, accuracy, and comprehension. Ask your child questions about what they read, such as what happened in the story, why characters made certain choices, and what they learned. A little practice each day can make a big difference in your child’s confidence and success in the classroom. Thank you for your continued support!
