RRHS
The KORR News team attended the Student Television Network (STN) Convention for the very first time, competing against over 3,500 students from 186 schools nationwide—and they brought home 2nd place in the Movie Trailer division. The prompt for the Movie Trailer dropped at 10 am. They had 6 hours to create their video from concept to final edit. This is an incredible achievement, especially for a first-time team, and a testament to their talent, dedication, and hard work.
Congratulations to the Team!

Gulf High School
A couple of Gulf High School's NJROTC cadets took time out of their Spring Break vacations to replace the rotted boards on the unit's 6' climbing wall on their Confidence Course. The cadets honed their carpentry skills while at the same time making the wall safer for all the cadets to use. Way to go BUCS!

Fivay High School- Fire Science Academy
Tampa Firefighter Museum
The Fire Science Academy from Fivay High School recently embarked on a field trip to the Tampa Firefighter's Museum and Station 1 “The Big House." Tampa Fire Rescue’s Captain Bill Wade, Personnel Chief Robbie Northrop and Pasco County Fire Rescue’s Fire Chief Scott Cassin delivered informative and inspiring remarks to the students. We then toured the museum where they learned about the history of Tampa Fire Rescue. The museum is filled with historic memorabilia and the students asked if I used some of these relics.
After the museum, we went across the street to tour the working fire station. The students got to operate the jaws of life and sit in the rear driver’s seat of the Tiller. It was an amazing learning experience and I can’t thank them enough for providing our students a memorable daySubmitted by Taylor Constantino & Stephen Smith
