Hispanic Heritage Month: Hispanic Heritage Month (HHM) is a month-long celebration that recognizes the rich cultural heritage, contributions, and deep faith of Hispanic and Latino communities in the United States. Observed each year from September 15 to October 15, HHM is an opportunity for Catholic schools to honor the diverse voices within their communities and celebrate how Catholic education helps students pursue their dreams with purpose and faith. At Archbishop Borders School, we are grateful for the opportunity to elevate our Hispanic and Latino voices daily, foster cultural pride, and showcase our vibrant diversity.

Family Income Survey: I want to give a shout-out to all ABS parents who have completed the Family Income Survey. You are amazing! As of today, we have reached 94% completion. If you haven't completed the survey, we will send you a direct message.

Health Forms: All new students must have physical, dental, and immunization records. New students in grades Pre-K 3 through 1 must also have a lead testing certificate. Please complete your child's emergency form in School Admin, and email Nurse Grace or send in your child's health forms. If you have a doctor's or dental appointment, please notify Nurse Grace of the date(s).

The Vaccination deadline is Monday, Sept. 21, 2026; affected students have been notified.

Uniforms: Students must be in proper uniform every day. No uniform substitutions will be allowed. All uniform items, outerwear, and other belongings must be clearly labeled with the student's name.

Attendance & Dismissal: Students should arrive at school on time each day to avoid being marked as tardy. This also helps students participate in homeroom routines and eat breakfast before their next class. Please notify the office and/or homeroom teacher if your child will be absent, has a doctor's appointment, or is out sick.

Regular dismissal is at 3:00 pm. Early departures/sign-outs are NOT allowed after 2:30 p.m. to avoid afternoon disruptions and distractions in the classroom and to ensure safety during dismissal. Excessive lateness / excessive early departures, four (4) or more within a trimester, will result in a mandatory conference with teachers and the administration.

ABS Parents Pray- Boxes needed

Thank you so much to Therese Cole who lead our first "ABS Parents Pray" of the year. We were a small, but mighty group this past Tuesday and, as we know, Jesus tells us that when there are two or three gathered in His name, He will be with us.

We need boxes!! Fourteen to be exact. We will be giving a box out to each classroom for them to create a "Prayers and Praises" box for intentions for us to pray for once a month. We hope this serves as a reminder to the students, staff, and parents that we can always offer up our worries, prayers and troubles to Jesus, as well as praise Him in thanksgiving for answered prayer.

If you have a box you can donate, please drop it off at the school office. If you have any questions, please email pto@abbschool.com-- or (706) 814-3351 Text or WhatsApp
