Important Note: Be prepared for a plethora of emails during the 24 hour giving hour on March 6th and 7th - DoMore24 is a school fundraising event... and we apologize in advance for the many, many reminders you will receive!

This event is carefully placed the week before conferences (even though we know back to back weeks with events can be hard). The intent is that you get a chance to see how your child works in the classroom, what they are learning about, etc. Then, at conferences, you can build off of your observations and talk about your child and what you noticed. Ideally, the same person attends both Watch Me Work and Conferences if possible.

Our meal service company is experiencing higher costs for many reasons (electric bills, supply chain issues, etc.). We are working with them to keep our costs at the same rate. They have reviewed our purchase history and are eliminating items that were not popular and will only be offering cold options on Tuesdays and Thursdays in alignment with these preferences. This is something we will continue to monitor and work with them on. We know this is not ideal but we also understand that current costs are rising. Feel free to provide feedback directly to Courtney and we will pass it along and use it in our decision making for the future.

In addition, we want to remind families that our office CANNOT receive deliveries for students. This includes meal orders from delivery services (ex. door dash, etc.)

Starting at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 6th, there is a statewide day of giving. During this time nonprofits all across deliver raise money for their organizations. At FSMA, all of our funds raised go to student activities and programs! FSMA's goal is $15,000! The fun part about this day is that you can turn your donations into FREE money for our school. Here are some ideas for how to make your donation go even further.

• does your company offer a match program?
• set your alarm and donate right at 5:00 p.m. - the 1st 20 organizations to receive 25 donations receive $500.
• go on facebook and let us know what state you can get a donation from (on the FSMA Families page)

For this fundraiser, it is about total DONORS and the total amount. If EVERY FAMILY participates, we can win lots of free money.

And, if you want to DoMore, you can encourage a friend or family member to donate!
