Hello Wauwatosa Montessori School Community,

Thanks so much for coming out to Parent-Teacher and Parent-Teacher-Student Conferences this week!

Thank you also to everyone who came out to Literacy Night last Friday. The event was such a success. Thank you to the Literacy Committee for all their hard work in putting together the event, especially Jenice Carolan, Jen Jacobs, and Jason Lawent!

Also, thank you to the UE teachers, Ms. Susan and Ms. Emily, for putting on a market experience with their students. It truly brought out our students' entrepreneurial spirits this week!

Next week we have Read Across America! Please check out the opportunities to get involved in the flyer!

Carline and Playground Reminder

Thank you to everyone who has been following the carline procedures which help with safety. Please be sure to follow the carline procedures, including pulling up the first available spot (not in front of the main door), staying in the line, and staying in the car. You are also welcome to park in the parking lot and walk your child to the door as well.

Further, as a friendly reminder, the parking lot is used for students who go out on a walk with their class and for recess 11:30-12:30 and is not available for parking during school hours. Please be sure to park in the main parking lot during school hours.

Staffing Update

We are currently searching for a special education teacher. In the interim, Ms. Isa and Mr. Nen are subbing. I will send additional communication to Wauwatosa Montessori School stakeholders when I have an update on the hiring process.

Ms. Isa Herman is now the long-term sub in gym class. I am also excited to share that she is pursuing her license for this role! We are continuing our search for a Physical Education Teacher; however, Ms Isa is performing wonderfully in this role. As many of you know, she has her substitute license, her Bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurial Management, and is currently pursuing her Montessori teacher credential and is on track to graduate this year.

Check out the latest edition of the American Montessori Society Family Connection: March edition
