On Wednesday, May 21, Lakeville South High School proudly recognized 17 outstanding student-athletes during a Commitment Day Signing ceremony. The event was held at 7:15 AM in the Performance Gym and included family, friends, and coaches in celebration of these students’ commitment to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level. Whether through athletic scholarships, preferred walk-on status, or participation in NCAA Division I, II, or III programs, these students had earned the opportunity to take their talents to the next level. Teachers and students were encouraged to attend and celebrate their achievements.

“It was a true pleasure watching these student-athletes grow into the exceptional individuals they became,” said Mr. Chad Sexauer, Activities Director. Wednesday marked a special moment to reflect on all they had accomplished and to celebrate the exciting path ahead. Their leadership, integrity, and character made a lasting impact not only in athletics but also throughout our school community. We thanked them and looked forward to seeing the positive contributions they would make at their future institutions.
