What's New In the Library?
We've added a lot of new books already this year. We try to get titles that are on state book lists and also meet as many student and teacher requests as possible. Here are a just few new series and titles we've added.
A Student Requested Series
New From Kate Messner
New Graphic Novels
New Early Chapter Book Series
New from Katherine Applegate!

Class News
Preschool
The students visit the Library once a week for a storytime.
So far we have read some animal stories and will be starting the Ladybug Picture Book Award nominees soon.
Grades K-3
We have started our annual NH Ladybug Picture Book Award unit. We will read the 9 nominated books during the fall and vote for our favorites in December.
Grade 4
We are learning more about how to use the library and its resources independently. This includes searching the catalog, browsing the shelves, and accessing digital content.
We had so many fourth grade students sign up for our lunch time book club that we had to split into two groups.
Grades 5-8
Many students have been visiting the library regularly to select independent reading material.
We also have lunchtime book clubs that meet twice a week available for each grade level.
Would You Rather... Question of the Week
So far this year we've learned that more NHS students
Prefer Cake to Ice Cream
(9/4/25 Eat an Extra Dessert Day)
Would rather be an amazing chef than have an amazing chef
(9/13/25 Kids Take Over The Kitchen Day)
Are equally split in wanting to create machines or tools and art
(9/15/25 International Dot Day)
Would prefer to stay close to home than to travel on a year long adventure far away
(9/22/25 International Hobbit Day)
