Summer Updates
Dear Adams Central Elementary Families,
I hope your summer has been filled with sunshine, laughter, and time together as a family. Whether you've been traveling, spending time at the ball field, enjoying the lake, or simply relaxing at home, I hope you've had the opportunity to slow down and make lasting memories.
As you continue to enjoy the weeks ahead, I encourage you to take time for the simple things that make a big difference in a child's development. Read together each day, play board games, build with blocks or LEGOs, explore nature, cook together, visit the library, practice kindness by serving others, and encourage curiosity through everyday conversations. These moments build vocabulary, problem-solving skills, creativity, confidence, and strong family relationships—skills that will benefit your child far beyond the classroom.
Our staff has been busy preparing for another exciting school year. Throughout the summer, we've been planning, learning, organizing classrooms, and refining our programs to provide the very best educational experience for our students. We are looking forward to welcoming everyone back and beginning another year of learning, growing, and celebrating together.
The remainder of this newsletter includes important updates and information to help your family prepare for the upcoming school year. Please take a few moments to review each section.
Enjoy the rest of your summer! We can't wait to see our Jets back in the building soon.
Go Jets!
