Chapel on April 25 Chapel on April 25

On Friday, 1st Grade presented chapel at CCA. They told us about kids in the Bible. Students were dressed as fact checkers (white coats), hosts (suit jackets), and kids in the Bible. All in attendance heard from Joseph, Miriam, Aaron, David, Naaman, the boy with the loaves & fish, Samuel, Daniel, Josiah and Jarius' daughter. The just of their program was: Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. 1 Timothy 4:12

Thank you Mrs. Lanning and 1st Grade for presenting an amazing chapel!

May 1st: May Day

May 1st was May Day. People celebrate by giving May day baskets out to celebrate the beginning of spring. They are often given to family, friends, or neighbors. The baskets can be filled with flowers, candy, toys, or small gifts. You make the basket, leave it on someone's doorstep, knock or yell “May basket!”, and run away. May day started in Europe and spread into the United States during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. --Kynlee
