Dear Grandview Families,

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year at Grandview Elementary!

Whether you are returning to Grandview or joining our Tiger family for the very first time, we are thrilled you're here. The start of a new school year always brings a sense of excitement, possibility, and fresh beginnings, and our staff has been working throughout the summer to prepare for an incredible year of learning and growth.

One of the things that makes Grandview so special is the strong partnership we share with our families. We know that when schools and families work together, students thrive. Thank you for trusting us with your children each day. It is a privilege we never take for granted.

This year, our focus is simple: building on the great work we've already begun. We will continue strengthening the high-quality instruction, meaningful relationships, and positive school culture that make Grandview such a special place. Rather than introducing new initiatives, our goal is to refine what we know works best so every student can reach their fullest potential.

As we begin another year together, I encourage you to stay connected through our newsletters, social media, and classroom communication. We love celebrating our students' accomplishments and keeping families informed about the many exciting things happening throughout the school year.

Thank you for being an important part of our Grandview community. We can't wait to welcome our Tigers back into the building and begin another amazing year together.

Here's to a wonderful 2026–2027 school year!

With Tiger Pride,

Dr. Susan Short
Principal, Grandview Elementary School

Back to School Shopping is Right Around the Corner!

Getting ready for the new school year? Good news: Grandview provides the basic school supplies your child will need throughout the year, so there's no need to purchase classroom supplies.

If you'd like, you may send your child with a backpack and a reusable water bottle.

We also gladly accept donations of facial tissues, disinfecting wipes, and hand sanitizer, but these donations are entirely optional and never expected.
