Curriculum Night

August 21, 2026

Dear Fairfax Families,

We are excited to welcome you to Curriculum Night on Tuesday, August 25, 2026! This is a wonderful opportunity to meet your child's teacher, learn about classroom expectations and routines and hear about the learning experiences planned for this school year.

📚 Curriculum Night Schedule

Grades K–2: 5:30–6:30 PM
Grades 3–5: 6:30–7:30 PM

⭐ Gifted Services Information Session

If your child receives gifted services from Mrs. Riolo, she will offer a separate informational session for families:

• Grades 3–5: 5:30–6:30 PM
• Grades K–2: 6:30–7:30 PM

This is a great opportunity to learn more about gifted services and ask questions.

Please attend during your child's grade-level time so we can make sure everyone has a meaningful experience.

🍦 Don't Miss the Fun!

Our PTA will be hosting an Ice Cream Social on the playground, so be sure to stop by and enjoy a sweet treat with our Fairfax community!

Need childcare during the event? PTA will provide supervised childcare in the gym for students and their younger siblings. Children will enjoy a movie and other quiet, structured activities.

We will also have representatives from the Lee Road Library joining us to introduce themselves and share resources available to our families.

We hope to see you there! 🍦🎬📚

🏫 What You Can Expect

During your child's classroom presentation, teachers will share important information about:

• Classroom routines, expectations, and procedures

• What your child will be learning this year

• Ways you can support learning at home

• Student Code of Conduct (SCOC)

• The importance of completing your Parent Annual Update (PAU)

• Attendance and the importance of being at school every day and on time

• Our Tiger Literacy Block and why arriving on time matters

We look forward to partnering with you throughout the school year. Your involvement and partnership make a tremendous difference in your child's success!

We can't wait to see you at Curriculum Night!
