St. Thomas School
Mid-Week Memo: October 8, 2026
Our Mission
St. Thomas School serves the parishes of St. Therese of Lisieux, Holy Spirit, and St. Matthew.
In partnership with the family, we are dedicated to nurturing the personal development of the whole child. Our mission is to instill Catholic values, foster self-discipline, and promote academic excellence in the spirit of a caring, affirming community.
From the Principal's Desk...
Dear St. Thomas families,
We are in the final days of fundraising, so we are announcing a Gift Catalog Fundraiser Challenge for the long weekend! Any students who sell two or more items over the weekend will be put into a drawing for a No Uniform Today (NUT) Card!
All Hallow’s Eve/Halloween This year, on the day before Halloween, we will wear our costumes on Fabulous Friday. Please be sure costumes are appropriate with no blood, gore, or evil themes. No props or masks are permitted and students should be able to move freely without restricting the movement of others (no blow-up costumes). We will celebrate All Hallow’s Eve/Halloween with a parade over to the parish office and a Saints and Angels party in the afternoon. We will not be collecting candy this year.
The Mingle Jingle 5K and Turkey Trot is almost here! Complete registration by next Friday, October 16th to get a t-shirt! Please register at this link. We are looking forward to a fun and festive run!
Grading and Reporting Quarter 1 for grades 3-8 will close on Friday, October 30th with report cards coming home on Friday, November 6th. The end of trimester 1 for K-2 will be Friday, November 20th. Report cards will be shared at our Family Conferences which will be held on Wednesday, November 18th. Information regarding sign ups will be coming directly from your child’s teacher. Our book fair will also be open that evening to families for shopping.
