CJSHS Raider Family Weekly Update

Monday, December 18th - Red, Green, & White (Show off your holiday colors)

Odd Hour Finals / Block Schedule - All 7th - 12th Grade Students Required Attendance For Finals (10% of semester grade). Snack - Goldfish/Cheez-its Last 15 minutes- all students will remain in their 7th hour classroom for a call in holiday trivia game.

Elementary Winter Music Program @ CJSHS - No Gym Access All Day for 7th - 12th students.

JH Athletes leave at end of school day - no extended practice.

Tuesday, December 19th - Ugly Sweater (Dig out those tacky sweaters)

8:00 - 9:00 a.m. Rise Time School Improvement/Community Service Groups (Same groups as on Wednesday, December 13th). 9:00 - 9:45 a.m. School Wide Family Breakfast. Snack- Trailmix. Even Hour Finals / Block Schedule - All 7th - 12th Grade Students Required Attendance For Finals (10% of semester grade). Last 15 minutes- all students to the gym for school wide knock-out.

*Zero hour weights will pick back up after Christmas break on Monday January 8 at 630 am.

We utilize a block schedule during finals so that students have plenty of time to take their test. This will be a quiet focused time in classrooms. STUDENTS MUST REMAIN IN THEIR SCHEDULED CLASS HOUR FOR THE ENTIRE BLOCK SCHEDULE TIME. STUDENTS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO GO TO OTHER CLASSROOMS OR BE OUTSIDE THE ROOM UNLESS THEY ARE TESTING IN A SUPERVISED SEPERATE SETTING OR HAVE A VERY SPECIFIC NEED SUCH AS FINISHING A FINAL FOR ANOTHER TEACHER (NEEDS TO BE PREARRANGED AND APPROVED WITH THAT TEACHER).

You can also expect to receive school reach calls and text messages throughout the school year and can find more information through our website and social media outlets.
