Cornell Thomas Assembly
Our school community had the privilege of welcoming Cornell Thomas on Thursday, April 2, 2026, for a powerful and engaging assembly. Mr. Thomas brought an inspiring and positive energy that immediately resonated with students and staff alike. His message of resilience, self-belief, and personal responsibility left a lasting impression on our school community. Students were highly engaged throughout the presentation, and his relatable stories and dynamic delivery created an atmosphere of motivation and reflection. We are grateful for the opportunity to host Mr. Thomas and for the meaningful impact his words had on our students.
Hamburg School ended the week on a high note with a fun and engaging Rock, Paper, Scissors tournament to kick off Spring Break. Students from Kindergarten through Grade 8, along with staff members, enthusiastically participated, creating a sense of excitement and school-wide unity. Laughter and friendly competition filled the halls as participants faced off in this classic game. Congratulations to Greyson in Grade 5, who emerged as the tournament champion! It was a wonderful way to celebrate community, build connections, and head into Spring Break with positive energy.
Hamburg School is partnering with the American Heart Association to participate in National Walking Day and raise some money for their Kids Heart Challenge. By participating in Kids Heart Challenge, our students will learn how to keep their hearts, bodies and brains healthy while helping kids with special hearts live longer, healthier lives.
On Wednesday, April 1st, Hamburg School participated in this challenge while celebrating National Walking Day by heading out to the field and walking two laps around the field all together.
