I hope this July update finds you enjoying a wonderful summer filled with rest, relaxation, and time with family and friends! Although there is still plenty of summer left to enjoy, the first day of school will be here before we know it, and I couldn't be more excited to begin this journey with the Southern Nash Middle School community.

Over the next several weeks, I will continue sharing important information to help your family prepare for the upcoming school year. In the meantime, I hope you find the information included in this newsletter helpful as you enjoy the remainder of your summer and begin getting ready for another great year at SNMS.

Join Nash County Public Schools on Thursday, July 30, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Nash Community College’s Brown Auditorium as we prepare to shine brighter together for the 2026-2027 school year!

Families can enjoy games, door prizes, a petting zoo, food vendors, educational support, local community agencies, and free slushies or ice cream for the first 300 people. Parents and rising seniors will also have the opportunity to connect with local colleges and universities.
