Wee Wuns Monthly Newsletter

From the Director:

Hello Fall! The students are settling in their classroom routines and establishing new friendships already. It’s amazing that a month has come and gone since we started the school year. As we anxiously wait for the seasons to change and for cool crisp air to move in, we are excited to welcome the pumpkins back to the Pumpkin Patch this October!

Although it may not feel like fall yet, we are in full swing of all things fall related here at school. We are so excited for our upcoming Preschool Fabulous Fall days, visits to the pumpkin patch, leaf rubbings, and even pumpkin carvings! We had an amazing Cupcakes with Mom event with our Preschool students and are excited to welcome the Dads the first week of October.

As we look ahead for all that October has in store for us, I am grateful that I get to be here to experience the love and joy of your children each day. They are truly the greatest gift!

Wishing you all many fall blessings this October.

Screenings will be completed at Wee Wuns on 10/22 and 10/23 by The Houston Cy-Fair Lions Club. All of the classes will be screened for vision. State Licensing requires all four-year-olds enrolled in a preschool program to be screened for vision and hearing. If you plan to have the screening completed elsewhere, we will need documentation for our files.

Wee Wuns PTO is excited to host the 34th annual Fall Festival on Saturday, October 25th from 9:00 am-1:00 pm!

The day will be filled with fun for the entire family including a petting zoo, games, bounce houses, DJ, food, a bake sale, shopping and a silent auction. Proceeds will be used for school improvements, to provide scholarships, staff training and to add funds to our playground. If you can help or would like to make a donation, please contact the Wee Wuns PTO at: WeeWunsPTO@gmail.com

Thank you to all who have contributed to the class baskets! We will continue to collect class basket donations through October 3rd.
