Graduation & Thanksgiving Mass / Graduation Ceremony

Next Wednesday at 6.00pm is the Graduation & Thanksgiving Mass in the church. The Mass will be a celebration of our wonderful Year 6 cohort who finish their time at Queen of Apostles. Everyone in our community is invited and there will be reserved seating for family and friends of the Year 6 graduates.

After Mass is the Year 6 Graduation Ceremony for 2022 which will also be held in the church. This is a very special day in the lives of these students and their families. I would like to wish our Year 6 students all the best of luck as they start the next phase in their schooling journey. They are a great bunch with many wonderful talents who contribute so much to the running of the school. We can’t wait to hear about the wonderful things they have been up to when they come back and visit next year.

COVID

With the increase of COVID cases in the community it’s important to be vigilant at this time. Please look out for signs and symptoms and keep your children home if they are unwell. If any positive cases are detected please enter this onto the COVID portal so as a school we can plan accordingly. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

COVID Portal

It is still vitally important that parents and caregivers inform the school if their child tests positive for COVID-19.

Parents and caregivers can inform the school of their child’s positive or negative COVID result via this LINK - https://cewa-collections.powerappsportals.com/COVID-19-Self-Reporting-Form/

The information will go directly to me.

If a positive result is recorded via a RAT test it must also be registered on the WA Health RAT register website -

https://datalibrary-rc.health.wa.gov.au/surveys/index.php?s=WDLLNTW4RDX8AWPH

Please do not underestimate the importance of informing us of a positive COVID case. Your actions will ensure the risk to others is minimised and that we do our very best to limit the spread of the virus across our community.

Best Wishes

Mark Ryan

Inter-school Swimming Carnival

Well done to our team for their amazing performances last Friday at Beatty Park. Our training sessions paid off as Queenies scored 224 points, just 23 points less than the eventual winners Our Lady of Fatima. Special mention goes to Luke (Yr 6 Champion Boy) and Hayden (Yr 5 Runner-up Boy) for bringing home medals.

Thank you to the many wonderful parents for their support at training and on the day. Thank you to Mrs Sullivan for helping at the scorer's table, and to Mr Ryan and Miss Barton for helping on the day too.
