The following resources are free from our Brooklyn Public Library. A library card is required. Our public librarian and our MyLibraryNYC librarian will be in the Dewey library periods 4 through 8 on November 20 to sign students and staff up for library cards. Take advantage of the programs for homework help, test prep and many other activities. All free with a library card.

  • Review books for service credit. You can earn service credit for your reviews. Reviews will be posted in our online Destiny catalog and posted with QR codes in the books as well. Get your friends on the reading bandwagon with your honest assessment of our books.

New Policies

  • Our hours have changed. The library is open periods 1 through 8. This was necessary to keep the Makerspace open during all lunch periods.
  • Cell phones are no longer permitted. Chromebooks are available for check out.
