Message from Mr. Imbusch

Dear students, staff, and parents/guardians:

Today marks the end of term 1, and report cards will be issued on November 13th. Please mark your calendars for Parent/Teacher Conferences, which will take place on November 21 (5-8PM) and November 25 (4-6:30PM). Sign-up information will be sent out over the next few weeks.

Please remember that this Tuesday, November 5th, is Election Day, and there is no school for students. The staff will be having a full day of Professional Development that day. Also, looking further ahead, Veteran's Day is Monday, November 11th.

The nurses will begin postural screening for all freshmen starting November 6. If you would like to opt your student out of screening, please email either Kim Byda (kbyda@walpole.k12.ma.us) or Heather White (hwhite@walpole.k12.ma.us).

Two Sentence Scary Story Contest

Mrs. Lamar would like to give a bone-rattling round of applause to the queen of screams, Veronica Binsack, for her hair-raising victory in the Two Sentence Scary Story Contest! Her tale was so spooktacular, it left us all shivering with delight. Keep haunting us with your thrilling creativity, Veronica!

WHS Spanish Club

Spanish Club will meet on Thursday, November 7th in Room 1332 at 2:15 pm.

WHS Best Buddies

Best Buddies will meet on Monday, November 4th from 2:10-3:00 pm in the Health room (A246).

WHS Latin Club trip to Sicily

Yearbook Announcement for the Class of 2025

The final deadline for the senior pages is the Senior Survey. This needs to be completed by the graduating senior.

If the senior wants to include activities, a memory, or a senior quote, they MUST complete the senior survey by November 8th.

WHS Humane Society

The WHS Humane Society is once again running the Pets of Walpole High Calendar fundraiser. Submit photos of your pets and purchase a calendar that celebrates all of our fur babies! All proceeds are donated directly to local animal shelters. Calendars will be available before December break. All animals are welcome and encouraged!

Photography Club

Photography Club will meet Thursday November 7th. We are still celebrating Halloween and we want to see pictures of the amazing costumes that you had or saw along on your Halloween night and we are throwing in a double theme. This week is also Candy! We all are overloaded on sweets this week so take some cool pictures of your favorite Halloween treats and make it look artistic in some way. Use those filters or portrait mode or even make a candy charcuterie board. Whatever you can do with that amazing amount of Halloween candy you have and take a picture and show the club. WHS Robotics Team

The Robotics Team's updates are in our latest Wolf Tech Monthly. You can catch up with what the team has been up to in the month of September. The Timberwolves and Pup Cups have been very busy this past month. Take a moment to read all about what the team has been doing. The team does community work and is getting ready for the upcoming season.
